Finance Committee of Parliament took as a basis for finalizing a new version of the law on the obligatory insurance of driver’s liability
Date: 17.02.2016. Section: News LIOU, ActualFebruary 16 was held a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on financial policy and banking. League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine was presented by its President Alexander Filonyuk.
On the agenda was issued two documents: Draft Law on compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners (reg. number 3670 of 12/17/2015, deputies of Ukraine Rubalka S.V., Dovbenko M.V., and Kononenko I.V., Berezenko S.I., Kubiv S.I., Matvienko A.S.,) and the Draft Law on amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine on compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners (reg. number 3551 of 11/27/2015, deputies of Ukraine Polyakov M.A., Dzenzerskyy D.V., Rizanenko P.A., Zholobetskyy O.O.).
Following the discussion, the Parliamentary Committee on finance and banking policy decided to take as a basis for improvement in the working group followed the imposition of to the Parliament the draft law on compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners (№ 3670) authorship Sergei Rubalka, Michael Dovbenko, Stepan Cubiva and other deputies.
At the suggestion of the Deputy Chairman of Michael Dovbenko, the working group should include deputies, representatives of National commission on state regulation of financial services markets, insurance associations and organizations on protection of insurance services consumers.
