February 22 at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine was held a meeting of the Committee on Health Reform Public Council under the Ministry of Health. League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine at the meeting presented Navalkivska Roman, director of insurance law and methodology department of LIOU.

Participants discussed a presentation and the first experience of implementing new approaches to health care reform in the Odessa region.

Also, according to the agenda of the meeting, participants discussed and agreed on the basis of the work plan of the Committee on Health Reform Public Council under the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in I-II quarters of 2016. Among planned tasks – the preparation and analysis of the concepts of health financing reform, preparation and analysis of proposals to improve medical education programs, the development of a transparent procedure for appointing new leaders of medical universities, ensuring democracy and freedom during their election by team as key to saving medical personnel industry for its reform and others.
