LIOU accumulates changes to the law of Ukraine on travel insurance
Date: 12.09.2016. Section: News LIOU, ActualSeptember 8 League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine held a meeting of the Committee of LIOU on insurance in tourism. The moderators of the meeting were Chairman of LIOU’s committee Galina Kim and Director of insurance law and methodology department of LIOU Romana Navalkivska.
In frames of the meeting were discussed questions on the tour operator liability insurance, accident insurance, electronic policy and others.
The participants of the meeting approved the proposal to amend the laws of Ukraine with travel insurance, namely the Law of Ukraine “On Tourism” and “On procedure of exit from Ukraine and entry to Ukraine citizens of Ukraine” and decided to send them to National Commission for State Regulation of Financial Services Markets.
Remind that the League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine initiated the creation of the National Commission for State Regulation of Financial Services Markets, the working group on the development of appropriate amendments to the legislation of Ukraine.
