XIII International Carpathian Insurance Conference completed its work

XIII International Carpathian Insurance Conference, held from 8 to 11 February 2017, completed its work. Conference was organized by the League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine and Business Strategy Center “Perspectiva”.

February 10, the second day of an insurance conference began discussion on “SOCIALLY SIGNIFICANT TYPES OF INSURANCE – CONDITION AND POTENTIAL POSSIBILITIES OF SOCIETY”, which offered to discuss the issue, policy in the field of socio-economic relations in society; health care reform and insurance; the basic provisions and principles of the bill of OMI; expert evaluation of international experience in health insurance; travel insurance and its importance to travelers; savings insurance in the European Union; life insurance and corporate awareness; consumer protection and so on. Among the speakers – Vasyl Popovych, Habilitation degree in medicine, Professor, Head of Department of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University; Kiyashko Anton, CEO of IC “Neftegazstrakh”; Galina Kim, Chairman of LIOU committee on travel insurance, Director IC “Ukrfinstrah”; Alexander Zavada, Executive director of “Oranta”; Alexander Zaletov, Olga Hurbych Members of the National Commission for state regulation in the field of financial services. Also in discussion participated Elena Pantova, director General IC “ASKA-Life”; Inna Byelyanska, director of individual sales, a member of PJSC “MetLife”; Irina Kuyarova, director of the Insurance agency Limited liability company “Ometa-Shans”; Oleg Paraschak, head of media holding “Insurance TOP”, “Forinsurer” and “Insurance business”; Gregory Ovcharenko, director-general of Investment company ICU and other industry experts.

Completed forum the discussion on “MACROECONOMIC AND GEOPOLITICAL FACTORS INFLUENCING THE DEVELOPMENT ON UKRAINIAN SOCIETY AND ITS FUTURE. CHALLENGES AND NEW HORIZONS OF DEVEOPMENT”, among the topics which – overview of the political, social, economic and demographic processes and their impact on society and the state of the financial markets in particular. Moderated discussions and speakers were: Valery Suksin, director of “Vubir Plus”; Sergei Korablin, deputy director of the Institute of Economics and Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, doctor of economics; Andrew Novak, chairman of the economics of Ukraine; Ilya Shutak, doctor of law, professor Ivano-Frankivsk Law University of King Danylo Galician, practical psychologist, member of the Academy of Energy of Ukraine, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and owner of “Pamibro”; Edward Dubinsky, co-founder of the American Academy of Finance and Investment (USA) and others.

Carpathian Insurance Conference – significant event that allows professionally and objectively discus the state of insurance in Ukraine, including in comparison to world markets, to identify the main problems affecting it, define forecasts for further development. According to the participants of the Conference theme and level of the speakers of the event again keep high level of professionalism and relevance of the annual winter meeting of the International Carpathian insurance conference.

XIII International Carpathian Insurance Conference held in the city Yaremche from 8 to 11 February 2017.
