On November 14, 2018, “Legal Practice” holds the Legal Energy Forum. This year’s forum, which is held for the third year in a row, is supported by the National Association of Advocates of Ukraine. The general partner of the forum is traditionally the law firm  Asters.

The participants of the event will discuss what volumes of investments are expected by our country after the adoption of the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on the Investment Attractiveness of the Construction of Renewable Energy Projects”, which entered into force on October 4, 2018; how the change in the EBRD strategy will affect the Ukrainian energy sector; will Ukraine preserve its gas transportation potential and the competitive Ukrainian energy markets.

As part of the first block of the forum, experts will focus on global issues, in particular, will assess Ukraine’s progress in integrating into the European energy infrastructure, as well as learn about the progress in Ukraine’s energy independence. The second session of the III Legal Energy Forum is devoted to the evolution of energy markets, the third – to the legal aspects of renewable energy, the final chord will be the discussion of energy disputes, which will take place in CASE STUDY.

Representatives of business, legislature, profile associations and departments, heads of legal departments of large Ukrainian companies, partners of leading law firms share their vision of current trends that have emerged in the energy sector over the past year. The League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine at the event is represented by the President of the organization Oleksandr Filonyuk.
