List of Insurance Companies of Ukraine Insuring People Traveling to EU/Schengen Area States
The above listed insurance companies have the right to issue policies that will be taken on receipt of visas to the Schengen countries, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. This list is not closed and all insurance companies are able to join him.
Today the “Schengen” includes both EU member states and countries that are not EU members. There are also EU members that are not Schengen countries. Countries – Schengen Agreement – is: Austria, Belgium, Greece (excluding Mount Athos), Denmark (excluding Greenland and the Faroe Islands), Estonia, Iceland, Italy (without enclave Levyhno), Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Germany ( without Byuzynhen-to-Upper-Rhine), Netherlands, Norway (excluding Svalbard and Bear islands), Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Finland, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden.
The latest to date, the countries that joined the Schengen agreement, Switzerland is – entered the Union on Dec. 12, 2008.
Five EU member states have signed the Schengen Agreement, but remain outside, as passport control was not fully repealed (UK, Ireland).
A visa issued by one of the Schengen countries is valid usually for the rest of the agreement (on the top line of the visa is written in the appropriate language “Schengen States”.
