The Alexander Sosis Foundation identified the Winners of the Annual Insurance Award in Ukraine

The Alexander Sosis Foundation has identified the Winners of the Annual Award in the insurance sector in Ukraine, who were awarded at a ceremony in Kyiv.

As stated by the founder of the Award, Alexander Sosis, the annual award in the field of insurance in Ukraine is designed to promote the popularization of insurance ideas among various segments of the population and the growth of insurance culture, increasing the principles of social responsibility of insurance market participants, as well as the formation of a professional insurance community, public opinion and recognition of professional merits.

The President of the League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine, Alexander Filonyuk, took part in the award ceremony.

The laureates and diploma holders of the Prize were awarded in the following categories:

For contribution to the development of insurance business in Ukraine

• Nikolay Trigub, ex-President of NASK “Oranta”

For the best coverage of insurance activities

• Oleg Paraschak, editor-in-chief of the magazine “Insurance TOP” (Winner)
• Tatiana Gorenko, editor-in-chief of the weekly “Ukraine Business Review” (Diploma holder)
• Ekaterina Shcheglova, editor-in-chief of the magazine “Maybutne” (Diploma holder)

For contribution to the development of insurance science

• Alexander Baranovsky, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation at NBU University, Honored Economist of Ukraine (Winner)
• Lyudmila Vremko, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Kharkov State University of Architecture and Construction, President of the Kharkov Union of Insurers (Diploma holder)
• Tatyana Rotova, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Kiev National Trade and Economic University (Diploma holder)

The Meeting is awarded to representatives of the insurance market: members of public associations of insurers, media workers covering insurance topics, teachers and professors of educational institutions and authors of scientific works, other citizens and organizations that promote the ideas of insurance in Ukraine.

The Award based on the results of expert assessments approved by the Supervisory Board.
