24 листопада 2016 року Ліга страхових організацій України провела XI Звітно-виборний з’їзду ЛСОУ. Його учасники обрали Президента, Президію, Ревізійну комісію та затвердили Резолюцію з’їзду.
Серед основних питань з’їзду – консолідація страхового ринку України, прийняття необхідних законодавчих ініціатив, питання оподаткування страхової галузі, внесення змін до Статуту ЛСОУ, а також обговорення завдань Ліги страхових організацій України на наступний період.
У роботі з’їзду взяли участь компанії-члени ЛСОУ та запрошені Члени Національної комісії, що здійснює державне регулюванні у сфері ринків фінансових послуг Денис Ястреб та Олександр Залєтов, директор департаменту страхового регулювання та нагляду Нацкомфінпослуг Юлія Христолюбська, Головний консультант Секретаріату Комітету Верховної Ради України з питань фінансів і банківської діяльності Тетяна Боцула, Генеральний директор МТСБУ Володимир Шевченко, Директор Центру Бізнес-стратегій «Перспектива» Віталій Нечипоренко та ін.
З інформацією про діяльність за основними напрямками діяльності ЛСОУ виступив Президент Ліги страхових організацій України Олександр Філонюк. Він зазначив, що спираючись на кращий світовий і європейський досвід ми можемо зробити наш страховий ринок якісно кращим і вийти на сталий вектор позитивного розвитку.
Делегати з’їзду високо оцінили роботу ЛСОУ за звітний період та одноголосно підтримали кандидатуру О.Філонюка. Президента ЛСОУ, Президію та Ревізійну комісію обрано терміном на 4 роки.
Президент ЛСОУ Олександр Філонюк подякував колективу Ліги страхових організацій України, компаніям-членам Ліги страхових організацій України, а також присутнім на з’їзді представникам Нацкомфінпослуг і запрошеним гостям за активну продуктивну співпрацю та підтримку ініціатив ЛСОУ.

Among the major assembly issues – consolidation of the insurance market of Ukraine, to take the necessary legislative initiatives, the taxation of the insurance sector, amendments to the Statute of LIOU, and to discuss problems of the League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine for the next period.
At the assembly participated members of LIOU and invited members of the National Commission for State Regulation of Financial Services Markets, Dennis Yastreb, and Alexander Zaletov, director of insurance regulation and supervision department of National commission Julia Hrystolyubska, Chief Consultant of the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Finance and banking Tatiana Botsula, CEO MTIBU Vladimir Shevchenko, Director of Business strategy Center “Perspectiva” Vitaly Nechiporenko and others.
Information on the activities of LIOU was made by President of the League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine Alexander Filonyuk. He noted that basing on the best international and European experience, we can make our insurance market better in quality and get a sustainable positive development vector.
The delegates appreciated the work of LIOU in the reporting period and unanimously supported the candidacy of A.Filonyuk. LIOU President, the Presidium and the Audit committee was elected for a term of 4 years.
LIOU President Alexander Filonyuk thanked the staff of the League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine, member companies of the League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine and attended the assembly representatives of National commission and invited guests for active productive cooperation and support of LIOU.
