24 січня 2018 року Ліга страхових організацій України провела засідання Комітету ЛСОУ з питань медичного страхування.
Учасники засідання обговорили та схвалили план роботи Комітету ЛСОУ з питань медичного страхування на 2018 рік, взяли до відома інформацію про Постанову КМУ від 27 грудня 2017 р. № 1075 «Про затвердження Методики розрахунку вартості послуги з медичного обслуговування», про проект Закону України № 4981 від 14.07.2016 р. “Про загальнообов’язкове соціальне медичне страхування в Україні” та затвердили оновлений склад Комітету ЛСОУ.
Також в рамках розгляду питань порядку денного учасники засідання опрацювали норми Закону України «Про державні фінансові гарантії медичного обслуговування населення» і наголосили, що підписаний Президентом документ надає широкі можливості для розвитку добровільного медичного страхування, і потребує нової якості взаємодії між всіма учасниками процесів. В ході обговорення учасники засідання зазначили, що необхідно виробити правильні юридичні механізми, підвищити якість організації та супроводу процесів та ін.
Учасники засідання Комітету ЛСОУ з питань медичного страхування розглянули оптимальне співвідношення джерел фінансування та їх розподіл в системі фінансування охорони здоров’я України, та результати діяльності страхових компаній – членів ЛСОУ з ДМС. Проаналізувавши дані 20 страхових компаній-членів ЛСОУ було зазначено, що порівнюючи дані за 3 квартал 2017 року до підсумків 3 кварталу 2016 року темпи приросту страхових платежів склали 12,3%, темпи приросту страхових виплат – 25,05%. При цьому рівень виплат за даними 9 місяців 2017 р. склав 55,66% проти 49,98% за підсумками 9 місяців 2016 р.

Participants of the meeting discussed and approved the plan of work of the LIOU Committee on medical insurance for 2018, took note of information on the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 27, 2017, No. 1075 “On Approval of the Methodology for Calculation of the Value of the Medical Services”, on the Draft Law of Ukraine No. 4981 of 14.07.2016 “On Compulsory Social Health Insurance in Ukraine” and approved the updated staff of the LIOU Committee.
Also, during the consideration of agenda issues, the participants of the meeting worked out the norms of the Law of Ukraine “On State Financial Guarantees of Medical Care of the Population” and emphasized that the document signed by the President offers wide opportunities for the development of voluntary medical insurance, and requires a new quality of interaction between all participants in the processes. During the discussion, the participants of the meeting noted that it is necessary to develop the correct legal mechanisms, improve the quality of organization and support of processes, etc.
Participants of the meeting of the LIOU Committee on Health Insurance examined the optimal ratio of funding sources and their distribution in the health care financing system of Ukraine, and the results of the activities of insurance companies – members of the LIOU with the VMI. After analyzing the data of 20 insurance companies of the LIOU, it was noted that comparing data for the 3rd quarter of 2017 to the results of the 3rd quarter of 2016, the growth rate of insurance payments amounted to 12.3%, the growth rate of insurance payments – 25.05%. At the same time, the level of payments according to the 9 months of 2017 amounted to 55.66% against 49.98% on the results of 9 months of 2016
