31 січня 2017 року Рада підприємців при Кабінеті міністрів України, Фонд розвитку конкуренції та Федерація роботодавців України організували та провели ділову зустріч щодо розвитку економічної співпраці між Україною та Великобританією в контексті BREXIT та останніх змін в світовій геополітиці. Лігу страхових організацій України на заході представив Президент ЛСОУ Олександр Філонюк.
Спікерами заходу виступили Лорд Девід Еванс – Палата Лордів, Парламент Великобританії та Алан Спенс – директор Integrative Media; директор, News Desk Media, The Financial Times Group (1996-2014). Зустріч закінчила дискусія зі спікерами та учасниками заходу.
Організатори зазначили, що останні геополітичні події на європейському континенті та в США можуть стати передумовою для формування нових економічних союзів та змін у міжнародних торговельних відносинах. Великобританія стала першою країною-членом ЄС, яка прийняла рішення про вихід з цього об’єднання, що пов’язано як з ризиками, так і перспективами подальшого економічного розвитку країни. Новообраний Президент США провів свою першу офіційну зустріч саме з Прем’єр-міністром Великобританії, що є відображенням міцної політичної і економічної співпраці між країнами. Великобританія виступає з чіткою позицією щодо підтримки незалежності України та намагається сприяти розвитку економічно-торгівельних відносин між нашими країнами. Вищевказані та інші геополітичні події свідчать про необхідність невідкладного вивчення можливостей більш тісної співпраці між Україною та Великобританією.
Захід пройшов за участі представників політико-економічної еліти, експертного середовища, бізнесу та консалтингової індустрії Великобританії та України.31 January 2017 Council of Entrepreneurs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Fund of competition and the Federation of Employers of Ukraine organized and held a business meeting on the development of economic cooperation between Ukraine and the United Kingdom in the context BREXIT and recent changes in world geopolitics. League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine at the event presented the President LIOU Alexander Filonyuk.
Speakers at the event were Lord David Evans – House of Lords, the UK parliament and Alan Spence – Director of Integrative Media; Director, News Desk Media, The Financial Times Group (1996-2014). The meeting finished discussion with speakers and participants.
Organizers noted that the recent geopolitical developments in Europe and the US may be a prerequisite for the formation of new economic alliances and changes in international trade relations. Britain became the first Member State that has decided to withdraw from the union, which is associated with both risks and prospects for further economic development. The newly elected President of the United States held its first formal meeting it was the Prime Minister of Great Britain, which is a reflection of strong political and economic cooperation between the countries. Britain stands with a clear position in support of Ukraine’s independence and seeks to promote the development of economic and trade relations between our countries. The above and other geopolitical events show the urgent need for exploring the possibilities for closer cooperation between Ukraine and Great Britain.
The event was attended by representatives of the political and economic elite and expert community, business and industry consulting of UK and Ukraine.
