15 квітня 2019 року в Київській Торгово-промисловій палаті відбулась прес-конференція, присвячена українсько-бельгійським взаєминам в морській індустрії, логістиці та страхуванні.
Організаторами заходу виступили компанія «MEDIACOMPASS» і ТПП «BeNeLux-Україна». Міжнародний морський журнал «Судноплавство» виступив офіційним медіа-партнером конференції.
В ході прес-конференції відбулось обговорення сьогодення і майбутнього україно-бельгійських відносин в морській індустрії, транспортному секторі і страхуванні, було оговорено новий етап співпраці, питання державної підтримки та ін. Також в рамках заходу відбулась низка презентацій проектів компанії «MEDIACOMPASS», в тому числі презентація конференції зі страхування морських вантажів MCI 2019, яка буде проходити 8-9 травня поточного року в Антверпені.
Як зазначив у своєму виступі пан Люк Піссон, Антверпен з 16 століття є центром морського і вантажного страхування. Сьогодні там працюють близько 10 великих страхових компаній, що визначають тенденції в області страхування вантажів. Фактично Антверпен сьогодні є центром підвищення кваліфікації фахівців з питань страхування, саме тому організатори прийняли рішення провести конференцію в цьому місті. Крім того, 7-9 травня в Антверпені буде проходити міжнародна виставка з логістики та транспорту ANTWERP XL.
Спікери конференції: Ігор Полюдов, начальник відділу зовнішньоекономічних зв’язків Київської ТПП; Микола Сивак, виконавчий директор «MEDIA COMPASS»; Ольга Зеркалова, керівник відділу організації конференцій «MEDIA COMPASS»; г-н Люк Піссон, президент Торгово-промислової палати BeNeLux – Україна, Олександр Варваренко, генеральний директор «Shipnext», Денис Рабомізо, президент Колегії юристів з морського права України.
Участь у прес-конференції взяли понад 50 представників українських транспортних і морських компаній, страхового бізнесу, профільних організацій, установ, асоціацій та ЗМІ. Лігу страхових організацій України на заході представила директор департаменту інформаційної політики ЛСОУ Ірина Денисова.

The International Maritime Journal “Shipping” was the official media partner of the conference.During the press conference there was a discussion of the present and future of the Ukrainian-Belgian relations in the maritime industry, transport sector and insurance, a new stage of cooperation, the issue of state support, etc. Also, within the framework of the event, a series of presentations of the MEDIACOMPASS projects took place, including the presentation of the MCI 2019 Maritime Insurance Conference, which will take place on May 8-9 in Antwerp.
As noted in his speech Mr. Luc Pisson, Antwerp from the 16th century is the center of marine and cargo insurance. Today, there are about 10 major insurance companies operating in the field of cargo insurance. In fact, Antwerp today is the center for raising the skills of insurance professionals, which is why the organizers decided to hold a conference in this city. The League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine at the event was presented by Director of the Information Policy Department of the LIOU Iryna Denisova.
