Звернення Ліги страхових організацій України із пропозицією щодо започаткування в Україні професійного свята Дня страхування надіслано для розгляду до Кабінету Міністрів України та Національної комісії, що здійснює державне регулювання у сфері ринків фінансових послуг. Про це у своєму листі до ЛСОУ повідомив Перший заступник Глави адміністрації Президента України В.Ковальчук.
Важливість та необхідність встановлення цієї дати для працівників сфери страхових послуг та громадян України Ліга страхових організацій України доводить органам державної влади вже понад 10 років, і хоча встановлення цього свята не потребує жодних додаткових витрат з Державного бюджету і аналогічне свято вже існує в багатьох країнах світу, питання досі не вирішено.
Датою святкування в Україні Ліга страхових організацій України пропонує встановити 10 травня, оскільки саме в цей день у 1993 році набув чинності перший в історії Незалежної України нормативний акт у сфері страхування – Декрет Кабінету Міністрів України «Про страхування», що заклав основу для розвитку галузі. Відповідно до Декрету було введено ліцензування страхової діяльності, систему звітності страховиків і методи державного регулювання страхового ринку.
«Ліга страхових організацій України пропонує Кабінету Міністрів України та Національній комісії, що здійснює державне регулювання у сфері ринків фінансових послуг, підтримати ініціативу страхового ринку України щодо офіційного встановлення на державному рівні «Дня страхування», і наголошує, що страховому ринку України вже 25 років і символічним було б встановлення цього професійного свята саме тепер», – вважає Президент ЛСОУ Олександр Філонюк.Address of the League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine with a proposal to launch a professional holiday Day of Insurance in Ukraine sent for consideration to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the National Commission for state regulation of financial services markets. This was informed in a letter to LIOU from First Deputy Head of Presidential Administration of Ukraine V.Kovalchuk.
The importance and need for this date for employees in insurance and citizens of Ukraine, League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine brings to public authorities for over 10 years and although the establishment of this holiday does not require any additional expenditures from the State budget and a similar celebration already exist in many countries, the issue is still not resolved.
The date of the celebration in Ukraine, League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine proposes to May 10 because on this day in 1993 entered into force on the first in the history of independent Ukraine regulation of insurance – Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On insurance”, which laid the foundation for the development of the industry. According to the Decree was introduced licensing of insurance, insurers reporting system and methods of state regulation of the insurance market.
“League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine proposes Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the National Commission for State Regulation of Financial Services to support the initiative of the insurance market of Ukraine for the official establishment of state-level “Day of insurance”, and stresses that the insurance market of Ukraine is 25 years old and it would be symbolic, installation of the professional holiday right now, “- said President LIOU Alexander Filonyuk.
